Interventional Neurologist Joins CentraCare Clinic

CentraCare Clinic welcomes Dr. Adnan Qureshi, a world-renowned interventional neurologist, who will join CentraCare Clinic June 1.  Dr. Qureshi will work closely with CentraCare Clinic interventional neurologist, Dr. Muhammad Fareed Suri, to provide care to patients close to home who have suffered a stroke or aneurysm. He also will be the Chair of Cerebrovasular Diseases and Interventional Neurology for CentraCare Health.

Dr. Qureshi’s clinical interests include cerebrovascular diseases, stroke, endovascular surgical neuroradiology and interventional radiology. Dr. Qureshi received his medical degree from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan in 1989. He completed a neurology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta in 1996. Qureshi also completed a Neurocritical Care fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and an Endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at State University of New York in Buffalo, N.Y.

  • Diplomate, Specialty of Neurology, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. - A member of the American Board of Specialties.
  • Diplomate, Subspecialty of Vascular Neurology, American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. - A member of the American Board of Specialties.

Most recently, Dr. Qureshi was the Associate Head of Neurology at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
