CentraCare Health – Monticello expands local cardiology care through partnership with North Memorial Health Care and CentraCare Health

Monticello, MN – CentraCare Health – Monticello is enhancing and expanding local cardiology care by partnering with North Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute and CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center.  This new partnership will bring together two experienced cardiology groups to care for patients close to home on the campus of CentraCare Health – Monticello beginning in January. North Memorial will partner with CentraCare to deliver comprehensive cardiology services that benefit patients by providing convenient local access to physician consults, follow-up care, diagnostic testing, pacemaker clinics and inpatient cardiology care.

“We are excited to expand top-quality cardiology care in our community,” said Mary Ellen Wells, Administrator at CentraCare Health – Monticello.  “CentraCare and North Memorial currently partner on our campus to deliver renowned oncology care at the Monticello Cancer Center, and we are looking forward to joining forces once again to strengthen heart care in our community and provide patients with access to experienced cardiology specialists.”

CentraCare Heart & Vascular Center, a leading heart and vascular center in Minnesota, is dedicated to the prevention, discovery and management of heart disease.  The center is designated by Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Cardiac Center of Distinction for Heart Failure and has earned a top rating in heart bypass surgery from Consumer Reports.
