Health Care Quality

CentraCare Health System’s mission states that we will work to improve the health of every patient every day. That is why quality improvement is part of everything we do.

Our Quality Improvement specialists’ goal is to help develop and monitor processes and support systems that help each of us do our best to accomplish our mission. By working as a team and obtaining input from all levels of the organization, we can help to improve the quality of health care delivered at CentraCare Clinic.

One challenge is to see how our individual encounters contribute to our entire health system’s impact on the community’s health. We use data-gathering techniques and analysis to help us find the most efficient and effective ways to provide excellent care. There are many outside organizations and groups that measure and report publicly our success on various quality measures. These measurement tools can help us with our vision to be the leader in Minnesota in quality, safety, service and value.

The Quality Improvement department uses effective communication of data and process design to increase value, improve population health and enhance the patient experience. We work with clinic sites and providers to help them use current support systems and to develop innovative ways to meet the needs of the patients and various customers.

We believe these organizational efforts will impact the health of our patients, family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. CentraCare Clinic’s physicians and staff will continue to focus on providing the highest quality of care to those we serve.
