Quality Indicators

Patient Satisfaction
Our patients come first in all we say and do at CentraCare Clinic. We understand that where someone chooses to receive medical care is a very personal decision and we are pleased to be partners in their care. Through every patient encounter, we are dedicated to providing both excellent service and the highest quality of care.

Following a visit to CentraCare Clinic, patients may receive a satisfaction survey. CentraCare Clinic is committed to learning from our patients and always striving to provide a patient experience that is one of excellence.

Complaint Tracking and Trending
In addition to satisfaction surveys, complaints received are also tracked and trended. Results are shared with sites who then are responsible for system and process changes to ensure an improved patient experience.

HEDIS
Health plan Employer Data Information Set -- HEDIS -- is a tool created by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) to collect data about the quality of care and services provided by the health plans. HEDIS consists of a set of performance measures that compare how well health plans perform in key areas: quality of care, access to care and member satisfaction with the health plan and doctors. NCQA requires health plans to collect this information in the same manner so that results can be fairly compared to one another. Health plans can arrange to have their HEDIS results verified by an independent auditor.

Minnesota Community Measurement Project
Minnesota Community Measurement is Minnesota's source for information on health care quality. We all know quality health care is important, but did you know that quality can vary widely among provider groups and clinics? Today, consumers face many health care choices and Minnesota Community Measurement has information to help make those difficult decisions. As a consumer, you can use this information to make more informed choices and discuss the results with your doctor. Provider groups and clinics across the state are also using these results to improve the care they deliver.
