CentraCare Health Foundation awards $76,477 in health related grants

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The CentraCare Health Foundation approved nine grants for a total
of $76,477 at its board meeting Feb. 8.

Each year, the CentraCare Health Foundation averages $250,000 in grants to improve health throughout Central Minnesota. The Foundation's grants support projects that promote health education, conduct research or provide services or programs that improve health and health care for residents of our 13-county region. Those receiving grants for this quarter are:

• Lutheran Social Service
• Assumption Community Services
• Tri County Health Care
• CentraCare Clinic Family Medicine
• St. Cloud Area Legal Services
• Rocori Middle School
• Lakewood Health System
• CURA Center, Inc. d/b/a New Beginnings
• St. Cloud Area YMCA
