Twin Cities publication names CentraCare #1 Best Place to Work – for third consecutive year
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – For the third consecutive year, CentraCare Health System has been recognized as the #1 Best Place to Work in Minnesota, in the large company category, by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
2011 winners in the large company category (more than 1,000 full-time employees) include:
1) CentraCare Health System;
2) Accenture;
3) Ameriprise Financial Inc.;
4) C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc,;
5) HealthPartners Inc.;
6) HealthEast Care System;
7) Ecumen;
8) Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America;
9) Comcast;
10) Ecolab Inc.
Also honored were 30 small-company winners and 15 medium-size companies. CentraCare and the other winners are featured in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
The winners were determined by Quantum Workplace, based in Wichita, Kan., after employees at qualifying companies took a web-based survey created by Quantum, which then provided the Business Journal with a list of firms ranked by their scores.

CentraCare Health System employs more than 6,000 people and includes CentraCare Clinic sites in several Central Minnesota communities, St. Cloud Hospital, the hospitals and long-term care facilities in Melrose and Long Prairie, and the St. Benedict’s Senior Community facilities in St. Cloud and Monticello, as well as the CentraCare Health Foundation.
