CentraCare Laboratory Director receives award

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Cindy Johnson, Director of Laboratory Operations - CentraCare Laboratory Services, was recognized with the Bio-Rad Professional Achievement Award in the Laboratory Administration category during the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC) and American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS) 77th Annual Laboratory Conference/Expo in Chicago in July.

The purpose of the Professional Achievement Award is to recognize outstanding professional achievement of an individual ASCLS member within a chosen area of academic, scientific or vocational interest. The award is based on specific measurable contributions through evidence submitted to the judges.

Trish Roehrl, Laboratory Manager - Melrose Area Hospital Laboratory, was one of 58 laboratory professionals who received the ASCLS Keys to the Future Award.
