Bob & Linda Feuling make $1 million contribution to
St. Cloud Hospital Women & Children’s Center

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Bob and Linda Feuling, owners of Westside Liquor stores, announced a $1 million contribution to CentraCare Health Foundation on Monday, March 2, to support the St. Cloud Hospital Women & Children’s Center. The Feulings own Westside Liquor stores in St. Cloud, Sartell, Waite Park, Rice, Sauk Centre, Albertville, Baxter and Willmar, as well as several other local businesses including Liquid Assets and Bella Boutique in Sartell.

“We have six children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, many family members, more than 100 employees and thousands of customers, friends and neighbors — all who at sometime in their lives will need the services at St. Cloud Hospital,” Bob and Linda shared. “We want the best services available to our community for generations to come.”

The Feulings said St. Cloud Hospital is a great facility and brings value to the community.

The St. Cloud Hospital Women & Children’s Center provides care to nearly 1,900 children per year. Last year, nearly 2,800 babies were born at the hospital. In 2008, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St. Cloud Hospital provided care for many newborns including 40 sets of twins, two sets of triplets and one set of quintuplets.

“Patients and families served by the Women’s & Children’s Center will benefit greatly from the generosity of the Feulings,” said Craig Broman, president of St. Cloud Hospital. “Their gift is a wonderful example of giving back to the community and positively impacting the lives of families and friends for decades to come.”

“I am so grateful for the Feulings’ extraordinary support during these uncertain economic times,” said Terry Pladson, M.D., president of CentraCare Health System. “Their generosity will make a profound difference to families across the Central Minnesota community.”

“Philanthropy is a critical element in today’s health care industry. We are indeed grateful for their support,” stated Mark Larkin, executive director of the CentraCare Health Foundation.
