Nienaber honored for gambling addiction work

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Jim Forsting, director of St. Cloud Hospital’s Recovery Plus Addiction and Mental Health Services, and Lana Nienaber of the Gambling Addiction Program were honored in May with a certificate of appreciation from the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance.

In its award, the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance acknowledged Forsting’s and Nienaber’s leadership roles in furthering public awareness of problem gambling issues and helping to equip professionals and other citizens to serve those affected.

Based in Arlington, Minn., the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance is a national advocate for programs and services to assist problem gamblers and their families.
