St. Cloud Hospital Bone & Joint Center gets new director
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – When Kent Adams considered joining the St. Cloud Hospital Bone & Joint Center as director, the quality outcomes and dedicated staff were deciding factors.
“We have world-class surgeons with incredible outcomes and technology that rivals anything in Minnesota and even the Midwest,” said Kent. “More navigation cases for total joint replacement are done at St. Cloud Hospital than anywhere else in the United States.”
Since joining the orthopedics team in March, Kent has spent time rounding, getting to know the unit and team. He believes it is his role as manager to let the caregivers do what they do best — provide great care to patients.
Kent has extensive background in health care administration including the expansion and management of a multi-specialty clinic system, CEO of an orthopaedic group, planning and implementation of a cardiac surgery network across central Florida and hospital-based inpatient and outpatient treatment services.
Kent most recently was CEO of Tri-State Orthopaedics, where he was responsible for a
20-physician orthopedic group, with an urgent care clinic, imaging and physical therapy. Prior to this, he was the executive director at the Ocala Heart Institute in Ocala, Fla.
Kent has a graduate degree in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
