St. Cloud Hospital offers free valet parking to patients during south ramp construction
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Beginning Monday, March 24, St. Cloud Hospital will provide free valet parking for patients from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of major holidays. The service will continue for at least six to eight weeks while the hospital’s south ramp is closed to the public because of construction.
People wishing to use the valet service should drive to the A entrance, where they will be greeted by a parking attendant who will assist them. The hospital is contracting with Prestige Parking & Valet of St. Cloud to provide the service.
A crew will be adding 153 parking spaces to the ramp. Later this year, an additional ramp will be constructed on the north end of the hospital campus. When work is complete, the campus will have more than 500 additional parking spaces.
The parking upgrades are part of a $200-million construction project designed to ensure that the hospital can continue to provide quality care in a quality facility by:
- Adding more private patient rooms;
- Adding more state-of-the-art operating rooms;
- Updating our intensive-care units;
- Replacing an outdated and inadequate loading dock, warehouse and distribution center.
