St. Cloud Hospital Sleep Center provides outreach to Alexandria

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Douglas County Hospital and St. Cloud Hospital Sleep Center have partnered to provide testing, diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders to the Alexandria community. St. Cloud Hospital Sleep Center providers Deborah Scattarelli, RN, CNP, and Troy A. Payne, MD, provide outreach five times a month at the Douglas County Hospital Sleep Clinic, 111 17th Ave. E., Alexandria (Outpatient Surgery Center building).

Deb Scattarelli is an Adult Certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of experience in sleep and pulmonary medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, as well as a member of the Minnesota Sleep Society.

Dr. Troy A. Payne has 16 years experience in helping patients with sleep disorders and is board certified in neurology, sleep medicine, and clinical neurophysiology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He currently is president of the Minnesota Sleep Society.
The St. Cloud Hospital Sleep Center was the first accredited sleep center in Central Minnesota and nationally accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

The St. Cloud Hospital Sleep Center has:

One of the largest sleep centers in Minnesota with eight beds.
Two rooms dedicated to pediatric studies.
Testing of adults and adolescents for:
excessive daytime sleepiness nocturnal seizures
obstructive sleep apnea
restless legs syndrome
narcolepsy
REM behavior disorders
