Give your newborn a healthy start by learning about latch and position, signs of adequate food intake and breastfeeding for the busy mom. This class is for expectant and new parents interested in learning more about breastfeeding. We recommend attending this class with your partner or support person. This class is presented by registered nurses with certification or experience in the Lactation Program at the St. Cloud Hospital Family Birthing Center.

Successful Breastfeeding class meets Monday or Wednesday evenings - 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Classes on other evenings may be added through the year as needed.
Park in the North Visitor Lot or the North Visitor Ramp at St. Cloud Hospital. Enter through the North Entrance and go to the Lakes Elevator. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The Women & Children Center Classroom is straight ahead.
There are vending machines located on the 3rd floor, but you are encouraged to bring your own snacks and drinks. An ice machine and water are available. Please bring your own covered drink holder because drinking cups are not supplied. The Riverfront Dining Room will be open, if you would like to buy a snack before class.
