Description

The Neonatal Resuscitation Program is an educational program that introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. The course has been designed to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn. The causes, prevention, and management of mild to severe neonatal asphyxia are carefully explained so healthcare professionals may develop optimal knowledge and skill in resuscitation.

Course Prerequisite
Each participant needs to have studied the “Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation 6th Edition” and complete the online testing prior to class. Many institutions purchase manuals and allow staff to borrow them. If your organization does not have one available and you need to purchase a manual, the cost is $55.95 and can be purchased by contacting the AAP Online Bookstore.
