When David Anderson, from Long Prairie, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma, he was concerned he might need to receive treatment far from home.

Instead, David benefited from St. Cloud Hospital’s advanced imaging technology at St. Cloud Hospital and access to the latest cancer treatment at Coborn Cancer Center in St. Cloud. Having access to the latest technology is critical in diagnosing and treating this complex disease.

"It was so reassuring to know I was receiving the best care with access to the latest technology and could still be close to home," Anderson said.

"Music was my therapy during treatment. I wrote a song while I waited for diagnosis, finished the song after receiving it and played the song for caregivers and other patients. the interaction with others throughout the process was so positive. I have so many memorable experiences along my journey to remission."
