Keynote Speaker
William C. Moyers is the Vice President of External Affairs for the Hazelden Foundation. The focus of his work is to improve the public’s understanding of issues related to addiction, treatment and recovery. Moyers is the author of “Broken,” a best-selling memoir published in 2006 by Viking Press in New York. One of Moyers’ key initiatives is “carrying the message” about addiction and recovery into the public arena, especially to policy makers and civic groups across the United States. He uses his own personal experiences and professional expertise to highlight the power of addiction and the promise of recovery.
