The Behavioral Health Clinic recognizes that there are emotional and behavioral health needs that are unique or more frequent in women /healthtopics/womenshealth.htm across their lifespan. For this reason, the Behavioral Health Clinic provides specialty services that address the needs of women in their:

• teens
• birthing and reproductive years
• mid-life and menopause years
• later life.

Evaluation and treatment services that are sensitive to the specialized interests and needs of women are provided by Behavioral Health Clinic psychologists, psychiatrists and registered dietitians. We can help if you suffer from:

• anxiety
• physical, emotional, or sexual abuse
• depression
• disordered eating and body image
• grief and loss
• interpersonal relationship problems
• marital and couple difficulties
• menopause-related difficulties
• post-partum adjustment difficulties.

Once an evaluation is complete, an individualized treatment plan is developed that may include individual, couples and/or group psychotherapy. Women’s Specialty Services also takes a comprehensive approach in treatment, which includes consultations and referrals to other health care providers if warranted.

St. Cloud Hospital recognizes the contribution women make in our communities as well as their needs for accurate and comprehensive health care information. For this reason, we place a high emphasis on our women’s health programs.
