Imaging Services - Diagnostic Services

• Ultrasound - The Ultrasound department consists of 10 RDMS certified staff. The Ultrasound department is accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. More than 23,000 therapeutic and diagnostic ultrasound procedures are performed every year.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
  MRI allows physicians to "see" soft tissues without the use of x-rays. Approximately 13,000 MRI procedures are performed each year at St. Cloud Hospital.
• Computed Tomography (CT)
  CT scanning has unique advantages. It allows physicians to see both bone and soft tissue and is particularly useful in locating abnormalities for biopsies and interventional procedures. Imaging Services provides CT scanning with state-of-the art sub-second scanning.
• Vascular Imaging
  Imaging Services provides both invasive and non-invasive vascular procedures as well as all therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Nuclear Medicine
  Nuclear Medicine provides diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear procedures and is staffed by certified nuclear medicine technologists.
• Diagnostic Imaging
  Diagnostic imaging provides many options using standard x-ray technology as well as state-of-the-art electronic imaging. All of our technologists are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
