- RTS Bereavement Support Group - This
perinatal loss program supports families who have experienced
loss of an infant through newborn death, stillbirth, ectopic
pregnancy or miscarriage. Telephone follow-up and a family

- Depression After Delivery Support
Trained staff provide support, referrals and follow-up for
women at risk or who experience postpartum
depression. Let your nurse know if you need more information
or a follow-up phone call after you go home.
- Pediatric Bereavement Services - This comprehensive grief
program offers assistance through communication, support
and grief materials to the dying child and the family experiencing

- NICU Follow-Up Clinic/Infant Apnea Program

- Lactation Consultants/Breastfeeding Resource Center
- IBCLC-certified consultants support breastfeeding families
and advise and educate new mothers on the benefits and technique
of breastfeeding.

- Family Learning Center - This resource
center contains newsletters, pamphlets, books, videos and
Internet access. Patients and parents will find information
on infant care, children, parenting
, nutrition
and support. The center includes a lounge area and is located
on 3 North.
- Family Lounge - The Children's Center
has three family lounges with dining areas, microwave, TV/VCR,
phone and computer with Internet access. The Family
Birthing Center has a family lounge with TV computer
with Internet access and pop machine.
- Animal-Assisted Therapy - A trained therapy
dog, accompanied by its handler, visits patients to provide
assistance with coma patients, physical therapy and pain
management. The therapy dog provides comfort and distraction
