When to Come to the Hospital

Is it time for your baby to be born? Call the St. Cloud Hospital Family Birthing Center at (320) 255-5745 to let us know you are coming.

We generally recommend you come to the hospital if:

  • Contractions are strong and regular
  • Contractions are every five minutes, lasting 55-60 seconds
  • Your water breaks
  • Decreased fetal movement
  • Bleeding, more than "show" or spotting
  • You are concerned/not comfortable at home

Check with your provider for specific recommendations.
