St. Cloud Hospital’s School of Diagnostic Imaging can provide the education needed to become a radiologic technologist (radiographer) for students enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
The program provides:
- Optimal clinical experience in a variety of settings

- The latest equipment available for clinical experiences
The Radiologic Technology Program is offered as a full-time day option only for students completing a baccalaureate degree from affiliated universities.
St. Cloud Hospital School of Diagnostic Imaging is affiliated with North Dakota State University, St. Cloud State University, University of Mary and Jamestown College.
The Student Handbook contains all the current policies and procedures, in addition to a two-year academic calendar.

Radiologic Technology Education includes an intensive field of study that strives to provide excellence in radiography education. The students will spend about 40 hours each week in the hospital environment. Part of this time will be spent in the didactic and laboratory setting and part will be in the clinical environment. All students are full time. Clinical assignments are scheduled between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm and include weekend schedules. Approximately 10% of the student’s total clinical clock hours are spent in evening and weekend assignments.
Founded in 1938, the School of Diagnostic Imaging is administered through St. Cloud Hospital's Imaging Department and has the reputation for offering students the following benefits:
