Within the Center for Surgical Care, we have a special pediatric room for our young surgical patients. It is furnished with child-friendly décor and has toys and other items to help a child feel less frightened about being at the hospital.

We also offer tours for children who will have surgery at St. Cloud Hospital.

In addition, we offer a program that allows parents to be present with their children during the anesthesia process, which is often a very positive and comforting experience for both children and their parents. Should you choose to accompany your child, you will be prepared and guided through the process by a member of your child’s care team, usually a registered nurse from the Center.
