Volunteer Opportunities - Learn about volunteer positions available.

Commitment
We ask for a 50-hour minimum commitment and that you volunteer once a week for a four-hour shift. The days and time you volunteer are scheduled according to your availability and the needs of our health system. Most volunteer positions are available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. with some evening and weekend opportunities.

Adult Applicant Screening Process

• Interview
• Reference checks and medical clearance
• Criminal background check
• Welcome Session
• Orientation – 3½ hours long and completed via the Internet
• Position-specific training
  

NOTE: The adult application is intended for prospective volunteers who are at least 18 years of age and not currently an undergraduate student. Undergraduate students interested in volunteering should register as college volunteers.
