Commitment
We ask for a 50-hour minimum commitment and that you volunteer once a week for a three-hour shift during the school year and a four-hour shift during the summer.

Junior Applicant Screening Process

• Welcome Session - Attend a Welcome Session to learn more about the volunteer program and complete part of the orientation requirement Junior Volunteer Welcome Sessions
• Application - Junior Volunteer Application
• Reference checks and medical clearance
• Criminal background check
• Interview
• Orientation – 3½ hours long and completed via the Internet
• Position-specific training
