    Biography

    What I Do
We all face health care issues in our lifetime, and we are often at our most vulnerable in those times. I understand and appreciate that vulnerability, and my goal is to treat my patients with compassion and the best medical care I can provide.

My special clinical interests include interventional cardiology, coronary artery disease, percutaneous coronary revascularization, structural heart disease, left atrial appendage occlusion, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), percutaneous closure of atrial septal defect and patent foramen ovale, cardiac imaging, novel technologies, renal stenting and renal denervation.

    Why I Love My Work
I was born with a heart defect that required open heart surgery as a young child. I would not be alive today without the miracle of medicine. I appreciate the opportunity to give back to humanity and serve my community.

Since I needed frequent heart care and checkups into my early adult life, I have always been fascinated with the heart and its vital importance to life. I also was drawn to cardiology because my father is a biomedical engineer who helped invent and develop many of the tools we use today in cardiovascular medicine.

    Getting to Know Me
I am honored to be the first person in the world to use a 4D hologram to successfully complete a complex structural heart procedure. Within that same year, I went on to perform the world’s first Watchman implant utilizing EchoPixel 4D holographic therapy guidance without the use of contrast dye.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, Sarah, and our four wonderful children. We enjoy playing numerous sports together, such as golf, tennis and basketball. I also enjoy traveling and exploring the world and learning about history and other cultures.
