Meals Delivered Directly to Your Home

For someone who is housebound, having a friendly visitor during the week is just as important as the tasty meals being delivered.

The Home Delivered Meals program strives to bring properly balanced, nutritious meals to elderly, sick and handicapped homebound people within St. Cloud, Monticello, Sartell, Sauk Rapids and Waite Park.

Dedicated volunteers from area churches, businesses and service groups deliver the meals. The volunteers also serve as a daily contact for meal recipients.

Eligibility

The Home Delivered Meals program serves people age 60 and older, or those who:

  • Are unable to prepare their own meals because of illness or disability.
  • Find shopping difficult or impossible.
  • Lack cooking facilities and cannot go out to eat.

People interested in this program can refer themselves or have their families, physicians or a health care agency make the referral.

St. Cloud Home Delivered Meals Program

Home Delivered Meals serves individuals in St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, and Waite Park city limits. A variety of different dietary meals are available and carefully prepared at CentraCare Plaza. Volunteers deliver meals between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of holidays or severe weather. Frozen meals for Saturday and Sunday are available and delivered on Friday.

Monticello Home Delivered Meals Program

Home Delivered Meals serves individuals within a three-mile radius of CentraCare – Monticello. A variety of different dietary meals are available and prepared at CentraCare – Monticello. One hot meal and up to four frozen meals are available each week. Volunteers deliver meals on Mondays between 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. with the exception of holidays or severe weather.
