CentraCare Medical Alert Service Products

Scroll down to learn more about the in-home and on-the-go medical alert products offered through CentraCare.

In-Home Systems

In-home response systems provide emergency help in and around your home. The in-home landline system connects to a traditional landline or modem. This popular system provides the at-home coverage you need and is our most cost-effective option at about $1/day.

In-home systems include a base unit and help button:

  • The base unit plugs into a power outlet and uses a landline. It houses a powerful speaker and microphone allowing for clear two-way communication with our Emergency Response Center.
  • Help buttons are waterproof and can be worn on a neck cord or wristband. Help buttons are active for approximately 600 feet from the base unit, providing coverage through the interior of your home and out into the yard.

Key features:

  • Unit announces if there is a power outage or disruption to the telephone line
  • Base unit has 60-hour back-up battery
  • Can program multiple buttons to one base unit
  • Compatible with the MyActive Fall Detection Button

For those without landline telephone service, our in-home system is also available in a cellular version that uses the AT&T* 4G cellular network. A landline or traditional phone service is not required, and you do not need a cell phone or cellular plan.

Multiple special accessories options such as adaptive alert buttons, smoke detectors and motion sensors may be available. Please contact us for more information.

*Device requires a satisfactory AT&T cellular network connection to operate as intended. Coverage may not be available in all areas and may change after system activation.

MyActive Fall Detection Button

The MyActive Fall Detection Button can replace the standard help button with our in-home systems. The MyActive Fall Detection Button is recommended for individuals who may be at high risk of falling or who have a condition that may cause dizziness or fainting.

The MyActive Fall Detection Button uses multiple algorithms to determine falling motions and automatically sends a signal to the Emergency Response Center when a fall is detected.**

**The fall detection feature does not detect 100 percent of falls. If able, users should always press their help button when they need help.

Key features:

  • Water resistant – button can be worn in the shower.
  • Battery status is monitored. Your MyActive Fall Detection Button will be replaced at no charge if a low battery alert is received.
  • See and hear alerts that notify you and provide reassurance that the button has detected a fall.

Mobile Systems

CentraCare Medical Alert Service offers two mobile emergency response systems. Our mobile devices are two-way voice communicators that allow you to speak directly with our Emergency Response Center right through the button.

Mobile systems offer the convenience of coverage both at home and on-the-go so you can live the way you want to live while knowing help is available at the press of a button. Working off 4G cellular networks, you can call for help anytime, anywhere, in the U.S. where there is cellular coverage.

Mobile help buttons are worn on a neck cord and are water-resistant allowing buttons to be worn in the shower, bath or while enjoying outdoor activities. Each button comes with a user-friendly docking station that can be located next to the bed for charging and easy access to help at night.
