St. Cloud Hospital:

• Is the only Level II Trauma Center in Central Minnesota;
• Serves the needs of trauma patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week; and
• Is equipped to handle the most critical orthopedic trauma injuries with an FAA-approved helipad, serviced by Life Link III air ambulance.

In addition to the orthopedic surgeons, a trauma surgeon is involved in all major trauma situations as needed. Emergency medicine physicians are supported by a dedicated staff of specialty nurses and other support personnel. They have immediate access to imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound), surgical anesthesia and other support services.
