Spiritual Support

Cancer Registry
Cancer registrars collect and submit information on patients diagnosed with cancer to state and national cancer registries. This information is used in research, treatment and prevention initiatives, enabling cancer programs to accurately determine cancer patient populations, measure outcomes of treatment and survival, and formulate plans for quality improvement. Quality cancer data is central to the nation’s cancer fight making registry vital to the cancer care team. Coborn Cancer Center has four cancer registrars.

Behavioral Health Counseling
Being diagnosed and going through cancer treatment is very challenging. People cope with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in many ways. Some find emotional and psychological support helpful not only when they are first diagnosed, but also while they are going through treatment. This can provide a private place to discuss difficult emotions as well as help to learn strategies for coping with the physical and emotional impact of cancer. Coborn Cancer Center offers specialized services to fully meet the needs of all patients through collaboration with the Behavioral Health Clinic of St. Cloud Hospital.
