“St. Benedict’s Senior Community met all of our needs at a very difficult time for me. The room my father had in the Gorecki Center was beautiful, but more importantly, the people very genuine and supportive.
I miss the staff! I have told countless people how fortunate the St. Cloud area population is to have such a caring facilty here. Placing my father in a long-term care facility was a difficult decision I had to make. Now that my dad is gone, I can look back and know that I did the right thing — you made him feel ‘at home’.”

Hospice Care
For our residents who are terminally ill, we offer large, private rooms for their use. Each room has a private bath with shower, television, phone and sleeper sofas or recliners.
Rehabilitation Services
The Rehabilitation Services department is a joint venture between St. Benedict’s Senior Community and AEGIS Therapies. Occupational, physical and speech therapists are available on a full-time basis to meet the therapy needs of both long-term care residents and subacute care patients. Therapists use the most contemporary equipment, therapy techniques and treatment programs to ensure that all individuals treated can realize their full potential.
Respite Care
The primary purpose of this family-focused service is to offer relief from the intensive demands caregivers feel when they are caring for their loved ones. Care providers need to have respite periods to attend to business, enjoy vacations and holidays, and be able to rest and recharge. This service provides an opportunity for the guest to socialize with others while assuring individual care needs are being met.
Nutrition Services
Good nutrition and hydration are essential to the well-being of each of our residents and patients. An interdisciplinary team consisting of registered nurses, a speech/language pathologist and occupational therapists join with our dietitians and certified dietary managers to provide the best in nutrition services and diet management.
Other Services
The residents' daily living is further enhanced by a full complement of other services:
- Therapeutic recreation/activities - A variety of social and recreational opportunities is offered, which encourages each individual to remain active, challenged, stimulated and, most of all, to have fun!
- Social services - Social workers assist residents and families through periods of adjustment and coordinate discharge planning for those individuals with short-term stays.
- Beauty salon/barber - The Care Center has a full-time staff, which offers a full line of services, including haircuts, perms and manicures.
