Holly Ball 2024 Celebrates 50 Years by Raising More Than $1,000,000!
CentraCare Foundation celebrated a milestone with its 50th anniversary of Holly Ball, raising more than $1,000,000 during an inspiring and beautiful evening on Dec. 7 at the River's Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud.
The theme "Seasons of Love" was evident through the generosity of this community with money going to support the CentraCare Hospice, Coborn Cancer Center and Child Advocacy Center Greatest Needs Funds.
Holly Ball was led this year by Chair Marie Sanderson and Vice Chair Larry Logeman, and highlighted the history of this annual event, how it supports patients and families, and included performances by the Central Minnesota Youth Orchestra, the Youth Chorale of Central Minnesota, Marc Sanderson and Ms. Melinda's Dance Studio.
The event was made possible by the Presenting Sponsor, McGough, and included more than 1,200 guests who were in attendance to experience the black and gold sparkling annual event. The night's fund-a-need segment, a live appeal for donations featuring the Central Minnesota Child Advocacy Center, raised over $143,000.
"Holly Ball was an incredible success this year and we are so grateful to our guests, sponsors, volunteers and donors' commitment to helping us support local health care," said Holly Gulden, CentraCare Foundation Vice President. "The legacy of Holly Ball continues to live on in all of us, and we can't wait to see what the next 50 years will bring!"
The funds raised for Holly Ball directly impact patients and families during their cancer and hospice journeys, and for those needing the services of the Child Advocacy Center. For more on Holly Ball including benefactors, ways to still donate and event photos, click here.
