Delivered to campus on April 14, this cutting-edge technology represents a significant leap forward in diagnostic imaging for the Paynesville region.

Housed in a newly constructed suite designed to prioritize both patient comfort and clinical efficiency, the new MRI area includes a dedicated MRI room, tech room, mechanical room, and private changing space. The custom-designed environment not only enhances workflow for staff but also creates a more welcoming and calming experience for patients.

Construction partners Mortenson and GE engineers are now working to complete the installation and final preparations of the equipment in the coming weeks.

"For years, we've relied on a mobile MRI unit. Now, we're bringing imaging services in-house, which means greater consistency, shorter wait times, and a much more comfortable experience for patients."

Dingmann emphasized that the new MRI machine isn't just about convenience, it's about raising the standard of care.

"This technology gives us faster scan times, clearer images, and advanced diagnostic capabilities," he said. "It's the kind of investment that really changes how care is delivered. It allows our providers to make faster, more accurate diagnoses, and it means patients don't have to travel far to get top-tier imaging services."
