CentraCare's Coborn Cancer Center, Urology Clinic and Laboratory Services are partnering to provide free prostate cancer screenings for eligible men on Thursday, Sept. 17, helping men take a simple step that could have a lifesaving impact.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men. According to the American Cancer Society, about 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime. Early detection can help identify prostate cancer before symptoms develop, when treatment is often most effective.

Men ages 45 to 70 with no history of prostate cancer are eligible to receive a free prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test and prostate exam from 4 to 6 p.m. at the CentraCare Coborn Cancer Center, 1900 CentraCare Circle, Suite 1600, in St. Cloud.
