What’s changing in 2023?

All benefit plan designs are remaining the same in 2023, except the Low HSA plan has a $200 change to the individual deductible. The medical plans have experienced a moderate premium increase while the dental plan will see a small increase. And the life insurance premiums will be unchanged in 2023.

We all know it’s been a tough few years for the health care industry — and our economy overall. CentraCare worked diligently to make sure we could still offer great benefits to our employees at the lowest possible rates.

Who’s eligible?

Employees who are hired for 32 or more hours a pay period.

What benefits can I enroll in during Open Enrollment?

  • Medical Plan
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) Employee Contribution
  • Dental Plan
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Medical and Dependent Care
  • Supplemental Life Insurance
  • Legal Plan

What do I need to do?

  • If you want to contribute to a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or make contributions into your Health Savings Account (HSA) in 2023: You need to reenroll and select the amount of money to contribute to the HSA and/or FSA. Contributions do not carry over from year to year.
  • If you’re enrolled in benefits and don’t want to make changes: There is no need to reenroll. Your current plans, except for your HSA and FSA elections, will roll over into 2023. However, we still encourage you to log in to Oracle and verify your benefits are correct,
  • If you do want to make changes, switch plans, add/remove a dependent: You will need to elect 2023 benefits between Nov. 14 and Dec. 2 in Oracle. Mid-year changes*, additions or cancellations are not allowed without an IRS-qualifying life event and providing documentation of that event. Now is your time to reevaluate and make changes to your benefits!
