Dear Friends and Neighbors,

CentraCare care givers have been working around the clock for more than 20 months to care for you, your families and friends during COVID. We are committed to caring for every Minnesotan who needs us, and nothing will prevent us from doing so – even during these never-seen-before times.

The challenge of providing this level of care is that our hospital beds are often full. ERs in all of our hospitals are packed. And our clinical teams are exhausted. Early in the pandemic, our community stepped up in amazing ways to help us. We ask that you again join us in fighting this pandemic together.

How can you help?

  • Please get your COVID vaccines and booster shots. They are proven safe and effective in reducing COVID illness, keeping people out of the hospital, and preventing death.

CentraCare Health – Monticello Welcomes Steve Pareja

Steve Pareja, MHA, joined CentraCare Health – Monticello as Division Director of Clinical Services. Pareja is responsible for oversight of Emergency Medical Services, Employee Health, Imaging, Infection Control, Laboratory, Patient Safety, Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Sleep Medicine, Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, and the Monticello Cancer Center.

Pareja grew up in central Indiana and has worked in health care for 29 years. He graduated from Indiana University with degrees in Radiologic Technology and Business. He received a Masters degree in Theology from St. John’s University and a Masters degree in Health Care Administration from Ohio University.

Most recently, Pareja served as Vice President of Ancillary and Support Services at Fairview Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN.

“I have always thought very highly of CentraCare Health and the Monticello community, so I am very happy to be part of this team,” said Pareja. “I look forward to bringing my health care experience and patient-first focus to this new position while also working closely with our clinical services departments to deliver high-quality care for our communities.”
