Advanced Practice Provider Recruitment Process

Our goal is to reduce the time it takes to hire an Advanced Practice Provider while ensuring that we bring qualified providers into the process. Here is an overview of how the process works:

Expressing Interest & Arranging a Visit

  • Once you have expressed interest in an opportunity either by application, phone call or email, a resume/CV is requested.
  • You can expect a call from one of the recruiters to talk further about the opportunity and discuss your desires in a practice.
  • The Resume/CV and additional information will be forwarded on to the lead physician and advanced practice provider for that practice as well as the department administrator.
  • The lead physician, advanced practice provider and/or administrator will call you to talk further about the opportunity.
  • If there is a mutual agreement of interest, you will be asked to give us some dates to interview in person.
  • The advanced practice recruiter will coordinate this visit with you and the group.
  • Once a mutually agreed upon date is determined, the advanced practice recruiter will e-mail you air travel, car rental, hotel accommodations, and an itinerary of the interview.
  • We ask that you send us three references at this time.
  • The advanced practice recruiter will confirm plans with you a day or two prior to your visit.

During Your Visit

  • You can expect to meet the providers and administration for the group.
  • You will have a lunch or breakfast with providers with whom you will work.
  • You can expect a city tour by the advanced practice recruiter with answers to questions about the community, schools, housing and other topics that may interest you and your family.
