EVUSHELD
How can I get EVUSHELD?
CentraCare has received EVUSHELD, a newly FDA-authorized, monoclonal antibody treatment that can be given to people who are moderately to severely immunocompromised before exposure to COVID-19. These are lab made antibodies, given by injection into the muscle to give people with less immune function additional antibodies to fight COVID-19. This treatment will hopefully decrease their risk of contracting the virus. This medication is not to treat an active case of COVID-19.
If you are moderate to severely immunocompromised due to a medical condition or treatment, please check with your specialty provider (oncologist, rheumatologist, gastroenterologist, etc.) to see if EVUSHELD is recommended for you.
Please note: This treatment is currently available at select CentraCare infusion locations.
