    Biography

    What I Do
My philosophy of care as a Family Nurse Practitioner is to help people navigate health challenges with the best available evidence and to assist them to come up with a plan to help them feel good in their bodies and accomplishes their health goals. My special clinical interests include care of families and type 2 diabetes.

    Why I Love My Work
The best part about my job is getting to know entire families and developing long term relationships with the people I care for. Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, I was an emergency room nurse for nine years. I saw how devastating the lack of primary care could be and wanted to help keep my patients out of the emergency room.

    Getting to Know Me
Outside of work I enjoy yoga, kayaking, reading, and biking.
