    What I Do
At CentraCare, I am currently a certified nurse midwife in a laborist/hospitalist role at the Birth Center at St. Cloud Hospital. However, I worked as a nurse in labor, delivery and postpartum for more than 20 years. Babies have always been my first love, even as a child. When I was 5 years old, I told my Mom I was going to be the charge nurse of a baby hospital! I approach pregnancy care from a holistic perspective. To me, the journey from pregnancy and birth to the postpartum period touches upon the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of an entire family.

    Why I Love My Work
Labor and birth have always been my favorite parts of pregnancy care. In my role, I love the opportunity to do this work all day, every shift.

    Getting to Know Me
I have been married to my high school sweetheart for more than 25 years. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, hiking, kayaking and going on road trips. My goal is to visit all the national parks.
