What I Do
I believe in a patient-focused approach with kindness, compassion, empathy, and an open mind. I am passionate about understanding each patient as an individual and helping them cope with their diagnosis. I tailor treatment approaches to meet the specific needs and goals of my patients. My special clinical interests are in solid and hematologic malignancies.
Why I Love My Work
I was motivated to become a physician by my mother, who has been a nurse for over 40 years. She instilled in me the importance of service and compassion.
A diagnosis of cancer can change one’s life in an instant. I am dedicated to helping my patients and their families through the hardest time of their life. Hematology and oncology are ever-changing, with newer therapies constantly on the horizon. My goal is to translate these advances to improve the lives of patients and their families.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.
