What I Do

As an optometrist with CentraCare Eye Center, I am excited to provide comprehensive eye care to the community that I grew up in. My passion revolves around providing my patients with the appropriate contact lenses and the diagnosis/management of ocular disease. I look forward to giving back to the community that helped shape me into who I am today.

Why I Love My Work

I love working in eye care because it allows me to improve the quality of life of my patients. I can provide them with exemplary contact lens services and educate them on any ocular conditions they may have. I am here to work alongside the patient to provide the best possible care I can.

Getting to Know Me

I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and family and doing activities like golfing, hiking, biking, running, snowboarding and hunting.

Dr. Omann was very thorough and explained everything in detail about my eye condition, answered all questions, gave information about needing to be referred to an ophthalmologist, explained how that process would be, told us that someone would help get that appointment scheduled, and gave us information about possible treatments going forward. It was the best experience I've ever had with an eye doctor, and I would recommend him highly.

I was pretty nervous when I came in for my appointment as my left eye has been bothering me for quite some time and was getting more painful. Between the assistant (she was wonderful as well) and Dr. Omann I felt a lot better just being there. Dr. Omann gave me the most extensive eye exam I think I've ever had. He is very personable and knowledgeable and he calmed me right down. I've been following the directions he gave me for my very dry eye, and it feels better already. Thank you so much.

I had asked to see another provider because the one I was previously scheduled with had a terrible bedside manner and made me feel very uncomfortable. This Is the first time I have been seen by Dr. Omann and I would highly recommend him. HIs chair side manner was comforting and he took his time, to explain in detail my concerns.
