What I Do
I am committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care. I believe in partnering with individuals to understand their goals, honor their lived experiences and support informed choices that promote sustainable, whole-person health. My practice is grounded in respect, empathy and shared decision-making, empowering patients to achieve realistic and lasting improvements in health and quality of life. My clinical interests include weight management, metabolic and bariatric surgery and women's health. In addition to board certifications as a family nurse practitioner and adult health clinical nurse specialist, I am also certified in public health.
Why I Love My Work
I chose to work in weight management because stigma and shame still surround obesity, often creating barriers to care. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming and nonjudgmental space where patients and families can openly discuss their health concerns and collaborate on goals that support sustainable improvements in health and overall quality of life. Getting to know patients and families and supporting them in their goals are what I enjoy most.
