What I Do

My philosophy of care is always evolving at the core of my own values. I believe in servant leadership as a foundation. I would then say my remaining values are integrity, ownership, empathy, respect, intuition and stewardship. I bring these values with me to each patient interaction. Each patient has a unique story and should be given the ability to express their story to us as healers.

My clinical interests include urgent care and correctional care.

Why I Love My Work

Navigating the healthcare system can be challenging. As an urgent care provider, I have the opportunity to assist patients in understanding the importance of regular visits and helping them navigate the various aspects of the healthcare system. I assist patients during vulnerable times and my goal is to provide resources to add to their toolbelt on their wellness journey. I enjoy getting to know a variety of people and their stories, and coming to work every day to assist with anything that comes through the door. Each day at urgent care will look different and I like to look at every problem and say, “using the urgent care umbrella, how can we help this person in the best way possible?”

Getting to Know Me

I was born and raised in Central Minnesota. St. Cloud is a growing diverse community and I enjoy working with a variety of populations. It prides me to be a part of an organization that continues to be on the forefront of healthcare and continues to invest in lifelong solutions to the evolving healthcare ecosystem.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to audiobooks on my commutes, cooking and baking, traveling and watching hockey. My family has provided housing for a local hockey academy for the past few years while they attend school and travel/train around the United States. It has been a great experience for us, and we have met some amazing and talented people over the last few years.
