What I Do
I strive to provide individualized care that honors each person’s unique health goal, cultural background and life circumstances. My approach is holistic, addressing physical, emotional and social wellbeing while emphasizing prevention to maintain health and reduce the risk of future illness. I partner with patients through collaboration and shared decision making, working together to set realistic and meaningful goals.
My clinical expertise includes holistic family medicine, obstetrics, women’s health, sports medicine, diagnostic and procedural ultrasound for musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., tendon and ligament tears, arthritic changes, fluid in joints, carpal tunnel, etc.), mental health, substance use, chronic disease management and preventative medicine.
Why I Love My Work
Growing up, I had wonderful role models including my grandfather, a rural family physician, and my parents, both nurses. Their dedication to caring for others shaped my own commitment to medicine. What I enjoy most is making connections with people, meeting them in their life journey and helping to improve their quality of life.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I value time with my family most. We enjoy spending time outdoors camping, fishing and boating. I have a lifelong love of sports, having played rugby, volleyball, basketball, track and field and color guard. Music has also been a constant in my life – I've sung in choir, played piano and love attending concerts. At home, I enjoy reading, painting and trying new crafts.
