What I Do
My philosophy of care centers on evidence-based medicine, patient comfort, and above all, safety. My goal is to provide patients with a comprehensive understanding of why specific anesthetic medications and techniques are utilized for their procedure. My clinical interests are anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, and performing perioperative transesophageal echocardiography.
Why I Love My Work
I enjoy the high-acuity nature and procedural aspects of anesthesiology in addition to the broad-spectrum of patients I care for. I also love contributing to the team-based approach of the operating room.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work I enjoy playing and watching soccer, traveling, hiking, making/drinking espresso, and all things on the ocean including surfing and bodysurfing.
I am diligent and detail oriented. I will always strive to ensure patient comfort and safety through what can be a very stressful period.
