What I Do
I approach patient care holistically, recognizing the physical, emotional and social factors that influence health and recovery. I value building meaningful relationships with my patients through listening, patient education, individualized treatment plans and collaborative goal setting. I use evidence-based care to promote functional independence and improve quality of life. My clinical interests include vestibular rehab, movement disorders, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes and other neurological disorders.
Why I Love My Work
I pursued a career in physical therapy because I love helping people work towards a goal. I also appreciate the complexity and variety involved in neurorehabilitation. I enjoy exploring the factors that may contribute to an impairment and developing a treatment plan tailored to address these unique needs. I like to challenge and encourage patients throughout their plan of care. It’s extremely rewarding to be a part of their road to recovery.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outside biking, running and staying active. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family.
