What I Do
I believe in team-based care, which includes patients, their family members, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, therapists and other specialists. In my role we treat patients for major health events such as heart attacks or heart failure. We give them the tools, medications and motivation to improve their physical health. My clinical interests include lipid disorders, coronary artery disease, heart failure and pulmonary emboli. I like working in a field, like cardiology, which involves all systems within the body.
Why I Love My Work
I love being part of a team that helps to improve the quality of life of patients. After proper treatment, many patients often tell me they have never felt better – both physically and mentally. I love helping my patients feel the best they possibly can!
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, camping, hunting, watching Vikings football and spending time with my friends and family.
