What I Do
I am committed to providing patient-centered care to a diverse population and believe that it is a true privilege to be able to care for patients during some of the most exciting and difficult times in their lives. My goal is to help patients understand their situation and help them make decisions about their health care.
My clinical interests are in high-risk prenatal care, gender medicine, gynecological care through the lifespan, and well-woman exams.
Why I Love My Work
In high school, I realized my calling to care for people when I started working in a nursing home. I joined CentraCare as a new nurse in 2008, right out of LPN school. I found a love for caring for women from all walks of life and at different times in their lives. I am thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in someone's day and life.
Getting to Know Me
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and pets. We enjoy being outside, cooking, being on the lake, traveling, and getting together with friends and family.
During my Bachelor of Science nursing practicum, I spent a month in Kenya working in rural hospitals, and medical and dental camps. I worked in many different areas from assisting in tooth fillings to delivering babies. It was one of the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences of my life.
