What I Do

I aim to be a proficient, compassionate clinician dedicated to patient-centered care.

My clinical interests include pediatrics, women’s health and reproductive health, with a focus on primary care.

Why I Love My Work

I knew I wanted to go into medicine since I was a little girl. I watched my friends and family receive much needed care and my mother obtain her nursing degree. This solidified my desire for a career in health care. I have always dreamed of providing care in my hometown, and I fell in love with the atmosphere of primary care at the Sauk Centre clinic during my rotations.

I enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories and backgrounds, all while advocating for their health and wellbeing.

Getting to Know Me

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, baking and spending time with my husband. I love being outdoors (especially when it’s warm), and I have a 110 lb. dog, a labradoodle mix named Zilo.

    After meeting with Cassie S. For the second time, I asked if I could see her for my annual physical as the primary doc that I was scheduled to see only allowed for a 15 minute appointment and did not want to have my blood work done prior to my appointment. Since it had been almost 2 years since I had an annual physical, I found that to be unexceptable.

    I love that she let me lead the decision process and come up with a plan that I felt comfortable with. Also let us know that they were here for us if they were needed later on to address the issue

    Cassie was the first provider I have ever seen that actually took the time to listen to my concerns and we figured out a treatment plan that we both agreed with. I LOVED that Cassie not once looked at the clock or watch to see how long she had been in the room with me. I cant say enough good things about Cassie and [...]!

    I thought she was the BEST CARE provider I have Ever had the pleasure to meet and talk to along with her nurse. I wish I could have her as my primary provider. She was so kind & knowledgeable.
