What I Do
I provide individual psychotherapy services to adolescents (14+) and adults. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely heard, respected and understood. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate and evidence based. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build on their strengths and develop practical skills for navigating their lives. Empathy, humor and being authentic are important parts of how I practice. My goal is to meet clients where they are at, help them recognize their strengths and support them in creating a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling.
My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, life transitions, mood-related concerns, relationship stressors, self-esteem and women’s mental health. I have specialized training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and most of my interventions are informed by acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, person-centered therapy and solution-focused therapy.
Why I Love My Work
Being trusted with people’s stories, thoughts and emotions is an honor, and I enjoy walking beside those who are navigating their healing journey. Laughter is an integral part of my life, and I love being able to share those experiences with clients.
Getting to Know Me
I love to read, embroider, bake sourdough bread, garden and spend time with my family. I enjoy listening to music and true crime podcasts.
